Without a doubt Tracy Chapman's debut. The whole album is classic. And very good for alone time, as this will be on a desert isle.

Jack Johnson, Tracy Chapman, Oasis, Leftfield... I really have too many to choose from - you've inspired me to create a list. I'll post something this week.

I wouldn't classify it as one of my favourites. but one debut album that didn't get enough praise for not being half-bad was actress Minnie Drivers 2004 debut, 'Everything That I Got In My Pocket'.

It was tough narrowing them down... but I have posted 24 albums that cut it.

Forgive me. Minnie Driver's album is called Everything I've Got In My Pocket...

Hey, that's quite a good list! I still need to get my hands on that Goldfrapp album. I only have the Supernature one.

I don't have many albums to add to that list. Unfortunately two of my favourite albums (Muse's Origin of Symmetry and Radiohead's OK Computer) are not debut albums. The Arcade Fire's Funeral was a good one though.
